Matt Jansen has recently started a new role as head of international student recruitment at the British University of Vietnam. BUV is a QS 5-star university (the only university in Vietnam to hold this status) and the first and only university in South East Asia to have institution-wide QAA accreditation. BUV is in the process of building a world class 165m USD campus (with phase 2 of 3 to completed by early 2025). Matt has been tasked with the exciting challenge of growing the BUV brand outside of Vietnam to boost international enrolments. He draws on 12 years of experience in international higher education (8 years in the UK, 4 years in Hungary), having previously held leadership roles in student recruitment, admissions, marketing and international partnerships. Matt joins BUV from Corvinus University of Budapest – where he spent the last four years as director of international student recruitment and admissions.
