Riiid Labs, US. Marten Roorda has joined AI education company Riiid Labs as Executive in Residence. The former CEO of testing non-profit organisation ACT will play a critical role in accelerating the company’s global growth. “We must help students know where they are (measurement), where they want to go (navigation) and how to get there (learning),” Marten said. “In the new learning ecosystem, measurement, learning and navigation are integrated, enabling more students, regardless of their background or resources, to succeed. I believe Riiid Labs will play a central transformative role in applying its cutting-edge innovations in AI for education.” Marten introduced remote proctoring to the market in 2006 and is a “globally-recognised architect of adaptive learning, industry standards, the use of open educational resources and the use of AI in learning and measurement”, Riiid Labs CEO David Yi said.
