QED Schools Group, UK. Mark Mortimer has joined QED Schools Group as director of education. Mark was formerly warden of Glenalmond College in Scotland and has 25 years experience in education. This includes leading three HMC (The Heads’ Conference) schools and working as a head of history and politics and head of sixth form. QED leadership said the appointment was a true statement of intent as to the quality it seeks to inject into its schools and every aspect of their operations. On his appointment, Mark said: “I am delighted to be joining QED, a schools group that emphasises individuality, service, leadership and character.
