Marie Clark has been appointed as Director Insights at Education New Zealand, the government agency dedicated to helping New Zealand realise the social, cultural, and economic benefits of international education. She has also recently been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of David Game College a specialist provider in the city of London. She has worked in a range of insights, marketing, and communications roles in higher education. Her most recent UK role was at Independent Higher Education, the representative and lobbying body for independent higher education, professional training and international pathway providers. She has a particular passion for understanding student decision making and while at Hobsons, now QS Enrolment Solutions, she led the development of their seminal International Student Survey. Speaking about her new appointments, Marie said, “I am excited to join Education New Zealand at this important time, welcoming back international students from around the world. I also look forward to contributing to David Game College; both the provision and ethos of the college makes it unique in UK education.” She will be relocating to New Zealand later this year.
