University of Guelph, Canada. Mariam Raza has been appointed manager, global continuing studies in the School of Continuing Studies. The role was created as part of the school’s evolving strategy to scale globally focused and innovative learning models. Mariam previously served as associate director, global initiatives and partnership development at Conestoga College. She has over nine years’ experience in higher education and holds a doctorate in educational leadership in addition to having spent over eight years working abroad in Singapore, India, and UAE. Mariam said: “I’m excited to join the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Guelph during a time of growth and transformation, supporting globally engaged learning in a way that advances learner outcomes and strengthens meaningful partnerships.”
