James Cook University, Singapore. Lisa Williams has started a new role as associate vice president international at James Cook University. Lisa leads the university’s internationalisation efforts across both the Australian and Singaporean campuses, and is responsible for international enrolment targets, global partner networks, conversion and global mobility functions. Prior to joining JCU, Lisa was director of international at Leeds Trinity University where she established the International Office in 2022 and kicked off LTU’s global agenda from the ground up. She also held the deputy director international position at De Montfort University, and worked as international officer at Coventry University specialising in Asia and Africa. “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining JCU in this new role and to work for a powerhouse not only in the Singaporean higher education space but also a well-established, respected, and curriculum-rich Australian institution,” said Lisa.
