Esade Business School, Spain. Professor Lisa Hehenberger, PhD, has been appointed dean of Esade Business School for the next four years, with the appointment taking effect from December 1. Lisa is an associate professor in the Department of Strategy and General Management, and head of the Esade Center for Social Impact, which she founded in 2021. She was previously the director of the Esade Entrepreneurship Institute. Her international career has focused on corporate philanthropy, social impact investment and the creation of alliances between business and academia in response to major global challenges. Lisa’s appointment underpins Esade’s commitment to education consisting of a combination of humanist, Jesuit tradition with innovation and transformation, and consolidates her leadership in training people committed to social impact. Her appointment will also boost female leadership in academia and management, and be an inspiration for future generations of female leaders.
