Grok Global Services, Latin America.  Jorge Barrios has taken up the role of access director – Latin America at Grok Global Services based in Bogota, Colombia. In his new role, Jorge will work with Grok’s Global Access clients to help deliver on their internationalisation strategies in key Latin American diversification markets. Originally from Lima, Peru, Jorge’s extensive experience in higher education and student recruitment spans across the region and includes working with EdTech operations, study abroad agency management, and consulting for staffing and sales enablement projects. Of his new role, Jorge said: “The landscape of international student recruitment around the world has changed, and LATAM is no exception. A greater focus on intra-regional student mobility, the increased presence of new study destinations, and the various technological solutions on offer have made clear that a more sophisticated approach to channel diversification is key to cementing a growing presence in the region.
