StudyPortals, The Netherlands. Joran has recently been appointed COO at StudyPortals, responsible for its global operations. He previously led the Student Value department, in charge of product innovation (designing great course search websites for students) and marketing (informing students about their study abroad opportunities). Joran holds an MSc in Industrial Design and worked at a premier design firm in Melbourne, Australia, resulting in a worldwide patented reusable water bottle invention. Joran joined StudyPortals in 2009, and helped it grow from eight to its current 120 people, aiming to make education choice transparent globally.
