University of Colorado Boulder, US. Jill Blondin has joined the University of Colorado Boulder as the inaugural vice chancellor for global affairs. With more than 23 years of experience in higher education, Jill will advance CU Boulder’s global engagement, partnerships and impact, and will lead the new Office of Global Affairs. Previously, Jill led all aspects of global strategy and initiatives at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she was instrumental in growing VCU’s global focus, including leading the university’s international recruiting efforts. Jill said, “I’m honoured to join CU Boulder at a moment when global engagement is central to the university’s mission. CU Boulder has a strong foundation in global research, partnerships and learning, and I look forward to working with campus partners to expand access to global opportunities and deepen the university’s impact around the world.”
