Jennifer MacDonald recently joined Languages Canada as director of academic partnerships, where she focuses on strengthening collaboration between Canadian language programs and post-secondary institutions via the Languages Canada Joint Pathway Program and developing scholarship agreements with international partners. Jennifer is a language teacher, teacher educator and author, who comes to Languages Canada with twenty-five years’ experience in academic and leadership roles in universities and language schools in Canada, Latin America, Europe and Asia. She also founded a consultancy providing strategic program and training expertise in the areas of language, international, and higher education to postsecondary institutions in Canada and Latin America. “At such a crucial moment for international education in Canada I’m thrilled to be working to build strong communities, forge bright futures, and bolster academic and professional success via French and English language education.”
