GSA, UK. James became CEO of GSA’s EMEA region in October 2017. He has 13 years’ experience in the student accommodation sector, and has most recently run his own consultancy business, advising clients across the globe looking to develop and grow student housing operating businesses in evolving and mature markets. Before that, he held various strategic, operational and finance leadership roles at The UNITE Group plc. Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, James has considerable general management and board level experience in listed, SME and not-for-profit organisations within the student accommodation, university, leisure and retail sectors.
