Niagara College, Canada. Award-winning educator and author, Holly Catalfamo, was appointed Niagara College’s Director of Global Engagement in July, bringing to the position more than 20 years of leadership and management experience in both academic and non-academic settings. A leader in global development projects and partnerships, Holly has collaborated with educators and industry leaders around the world on gender equity and capacity building best practices while supporting the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. She has developed, championed, and managed innovative student learning opportunities focused on cross-cultural competency building, fostering world-ready and work-ready graduates. Holly has earned a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Brock University in addition to a Doctorate of Education from the University of Toronto with a focus on leadership and leadership development in the postsecondary sector. A lifelong learner herself, Holly recently completed a certificate in Leadership and Inclusion at Centennial College. Holly is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Colleges and Institutes Canada Gold Leadership Excellence Award and Society of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education’s National College Sector Educator Award.
