Helen’s leadership and expertise extend across three core strategic ambitions: showcasing Northumbria’s world-leading research, driving student recruitment and retention, and advancing the university’s social mobility goals. With over 22 years of experience in marketing and student recruitment, Helen has held senior leadership roles across Newcastle University and the University of Cumbria. She has overseen marketing strategies encompassing undergraduate and postgraduate admissions, domestic and international student recruitment, brand management, digital marketing, market insights, and philanthropic engagement. “I’m eager to continue working alongside fabulous people making a difference every day at Northumbria.
