Virginia Commonwealth University, US. Greg Holz has joined Virginia Commonwealth University as associate director of international enrolment. Greg is a global education professional whose background spans nonprofit leadership, enrolment management and global partnerships. Before entering higher education, he spent 15 years in Cambodia, where he helped found a nonprofit supporting children’s access to education and, somewhat unexpectedly, built a life, family, and career along the way. His work now focuses on global student recruitment, partnerships, and enrolment strategy, with a particular interest in how institutions connect with students across cultures. Greg holds an MBA in marketing and public relations and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in communications. Upon starting the role, Greg said: “I get to work in a field I’ve come to love, surrounded by ridiculously smart people who are ready to tackle some big challenges. There’s a ton to learn and even more to do. I’m excited to dive in and see where this goes.”
