Wayne State University, US. Fareed Y. Shalhout is the executive director of strategic global engagement and operations for the office of the vice provost at Wayne State University. In this role, Fareed is responsible for the strategic development and operational management of the Office of International Programs, Office of International Students and Scholars, Office of Fellowships, Education Abroad, the English Language Institute and more than 150 international partnerships. Fareed leads internationalisation efforts across Wayne State through cross-campus collaboration, international outreach, student engagement initiatives, and management of federally funded programs. Fareed is involved in professional organisations, including as an active NAFSA member. Additionally, he serves as the chair for Global Ties Detroit.
