University of Massachusetts Amherst, US. Eric Wirth has been appointed director of global partnerships at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Previously manager of global partnerships, he helped establish and expand the University’s global partnerships function, developing partnership infrastructure, analytics, and strategic international collaborations that support research and academic engagement worldwide. As director, he will lead the University’s global partnership portfolio, oversee partnership strategy and governance, and expand the global partnerships team with the addition of a new global partnerships coordinator position. Upon his appointment, Eric said: “I’m excited to continue building UMass Amherst’s global partnerships capacity and expanding opportunities for collaboration with colleagues and institutions around the world.”
