Austrade, Australia. Elodie Journet has started a new role as assistant general manager education and skills at Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade). Elodie said that she was “truly excited and honoured” to be starting the role, in which she will be responsible for the international marketing and promotion of Australian education and training internationally. After 18 years at Austrade, Elodie has built up a wealth of experience and has held diplomatic appointments in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates and the Philippines. She brings to the role over 25 years’ experience in international business in both the public and private sectors, including in supporting the expansion and diversification of Australian education overseas.
