AACSB European Advisory Council, Europe. Edwin van Rest, CEO and co-founder of Studyportals, the global study choice platform, joins the AACSB European Advisory Council, as a business sector member for 2019-2020. As the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools, AACSB was founded in 1916 by 17 American Universities including Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, and Yale University. The purpose of the European Advisory Council is to advise the AACSB leadership on business education and AACSB’s activities and engagement. “It is an honour and a pleasure to serve the AACSB community. I have been following them, enjoying their value since we started 10 years ago,” van Rest said. The organisation’s diversity, inclusion, global mindset and social responsibility mission and values overlap with Studyportal’s, he added.
