Arden University, UK. Duncan Cross has started a new role as director of Arden University’s Centre of Excellence for Teaching & Learning. Bringing over twenty years of experience in educational leadership, curriculum development and pedagogical innovation, Duncan will be responsible for developing and leading Arden University’s teaching and learning program to enhance student success and learning outcomes. He joins Arden from the University of Sunderland, where Duncan worked for two years as the head of the school of education. Previously, he worked for several universities and the NHS for over five years in medical education, working with international medical graduates and refugee healthcare professionals. Speaking about his new appointment, Duncan said, “As Arden University approaches its 10 year anniversary, it is really exciting to join such a prominent education institution with the opportunity to continue to build on its success.”
