University of Cambridge, UK. Donna Cook was recently appointed as in-country manager for the University of Cambridge’s Cambridge Partnership for Education. She is an educator and leader, with over 25 years’ experience in Schools, ELICOS and higher education sectors in Australia, and overseas. Her role looks at overseeing Cambridge’s educational reform initiatives. Previously, Donna was national manager at the ACU English Language Centre. As well as being responsible for teacher and curriculum assessment development, the role involved extensive travel throughout Asia and South America for business development and teacher professional development. Donna is also a NEAS quality assessor. She was on the English Australia Board 2013 – 2023, most recently holding the role of deputy chair. Donna has been actively involved across a number of Queensland and national initiatives, including successfully leading an application for a Study Queensland Partnership grant and was joint coordinator for the Raise your Voice choir Festival. Donna received the Study Queensland International Education champion of the year award in 2018.
