Campus France, France. Former deputy director of sustainable development at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE), Donatienne Hissard, was appointed director general of Campus France “by decree of the President of the Republic” on May 11, 2022. She succeeds Olivier Chiche- Portiche, who had served as interim CEO since the end of the second term of Béatrice Khaiat, CEO from 2015 to March 2022. A specialist in Asia and global issues, Donatienne has 22 years of experience in diplomacy and international cooperation professions in France and abroad (Belgium, China, Italy). She brings a “diversified experience of sustainable development”, governance of international organisations and strategic management of public institutions, human resources and management. Speaking of her new role, Donatienne said: “I am honored and delighted to take the helm of such a professional agency as Campus France at an exciting time when the upheaval in international student mobility flows, under the effect of the COVID 19 and growing challenges in terms of sustainable development, education and influence on the international scene, push us to reinvent ourselves”.
