StudyPerth, Australia. Derryn Belford has been appointed as StudyPerth’s new CEO. Derryn is a highly-respected leader in “both public and private sectors”, bringing a wealth of experience to her new role, international marketing and sector development. She previously worked at the helm of Tourism WA during the pandemic, and “supported the state’s tourism industry” through the issues faced and leading its efforts to provide assistance and navigate the industry through a “challenging period”. Her most recent post was as project director at the department of jobs, science, tourism and innovation. Derryn said of her new role: “International students are vitally important to WA and I know their absence has been felt during these challenging times. They add much to our diverse and vibrant community and our enduring relationships with countries throughout the world from which students come… we will continue to work toward welcoming international students as soon as it is safe to do so.”
