Aston University, UK. Colin Grant has joined Aston University as its new vice-chancellor and chief executive officer. Colin joins Aston from UNSW, a world top 20 institution and member of Australia’s Group of Eight, where he served as deputy vice-chancellor global. Colin brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience across research-intensive universities in the UK and Australia. Born in Scotland and shaped by an international academic career spanning the UK, Brazil and Australia, he is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.
