Pepperdine University, US. Beth M. Laux has been named executive director of international programs at Pepperdine University. Beth has experienced the benefits of international programs firsthand as a student – travelling to Costa Rica and Spain – and later working as faculty, and administrator. After earning her degree in Spanish and political science at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, she returned to her alma mater to serve as the director of international education and programs. After leaving in 2004, Beth spent two years as a missionary in Guatemala and El Salvador, before earning a master of public administration degree from the University of Toledo. Beth has also worked with nonprofit, government, and education entities in more than 18 countries.
