Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC), US. Antoine Battle has started a new role as director of global engagement at the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC). At TIEC, Antoine has expanded membership and partnerships to more than 20 countries, launched TIEC’s inaugural Texas exhibit/booth in several countries and at leading conferences, and nearly doubled the consortium’s membership network in under four years. He previously served as director of membership at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) and director of communications & partnerships at Serve DC – the Mayor’s office on volunteerism and partnerships. He also served on the board of advisors at the Universities at Shady Grove. Antoine said: “I am excited to take on this new role as TIEC’s director of global engagement and look forward to supporting our new president & CEO’s vision, deepening engagement with our members and partners, shaping the future of international education, collaborating with colleagues, and building on TIEC’s 40-year legacy.”
