Navitas, Global. Andrew Atherton has joined Navitas as Global Director Transnational Education. Andrew will also play a key role in supporting the University Partners Europe division on business development opportunities in Europe. Navitas has a well-established TNE offering, managing international campuses for Curtin University, Murdoch University, Edith Cowan University and Lancaster University. Andrew’s appointment will strengthen this capability and benefit both current and new partners looking to realise their internationalisation ambitions. Andrew has been involved in TNE for many years, establishing campuses in China and Europe and expanding existing presences in Ghana and Malaysia. Most recently, he was Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dundee, and before that Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lancaster. He was Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lincoln, and Director of the Enterprise and Small Business department at the University of Durham. Andrew has degrees from the School of Oriental and African Studies and Yale University.
