Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland. Dr Alesso Delpero has joined Glion Institute of Higher Education as its new associate professor of strategic management and innovation in hospitality. An entrepreneur turned scholar, Alessio founded and managed companies in the sport and hospitality sectors before entering the world of academia. Prior to joining Glion, he taught strategic management, innovation, entrepreneurship and AI for business at Bocconi University and WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). His research activities explore how firms recombine knowledge to innovate, with a specific emphasis on how digital technologies – especially AI – shape creativity and innovation at individual and organisational levels. At Glion, he teaches research methods while also making an active contribution to the school’s academic research program. Alessio holds a PhD in business administration and management from Bocconi University.
