University of Washington, US. Ahmad Ezzeddine has joined the University of Washington as its new vice provost for global affairs.

In his new role, Ahmad will lead and manage the office of global affairs and serve as a strategic thought leader for the university’s global engagement efforts. Ahmad joins UW after nearly 20 years working at Wayne State University in Michigan, most recently as senior vice provost, partnerships, workforce and international initiatives. He also serves  as president of NAFSA and chair of the board of directors. Upon joining UW, Ahmad said: “I am deeply honored to serve as the University of Washington’s next vice provost for the Office of Global Affairs and thrilled to join one of the leading and most innovative universities in the world… I look forward to collaborating with our vibrant university community of distinguished faculty, dedicated staff and talented students to advance a shared, innovative and inclusive global engagement vision.”
