One year from the launch of its refugee scholarship scheme “The Compass Project”, Birkbeck University representatives gathered to celebrate the achievements of the program’s first cohort of students. Master of the university David Latchman opened the ceremony at BMA house, followed by an address by program coordinator Naureen Abubacker.
