EAIE conference Rotterdam – Day 3
After a packed day of sessions and networking, more networking was on the way for the delegates at EAIE – Keystone held a drinks party at Foodhallen, while Study in Wales held its own at Baek Food&Drink and HousingAnywhere used its office for its reception on the famous Blaak street.
EAIE conference Rotterdam – Day 2
On the first full day of sessions and networking, EAIE hit the ground running and plenty of receptions came with. The Australian Universities held a reception on the SS Rotterdam sponsored by EduKudu, British Council held its own at the Maritime Museum and IELTS went full party mode at Maasilo.

A range of organisations kicked off their EAIE in Rotterdam with thrilling receptions. London Met and Diversity abroad held a joint reception at the Panorama Room, while Education New Zealand went for a riverside spot at the Eau lounge and Studyportals held its Student Satisfaction Awards.
The PIEoneer Awards 2023, London
The PIEoneer Awards returned in 2023 once again celebrating outstanding achievement and innovation in the international education sector. Some 560 attendees joined the ceremony on September 22 to find out who won in 20 categories representing the breadth of the industry.

Ahead of The PIEoneer Awards 2023 ceremony on September 22, finalists gathered for an afternoon tea to network and learn about one another’s projects and initiatives.
DET Digital English Testing event, London
On September 18, Duolingo English Test and The PIE teamed up to bring a free event to The Trafalgar in Central London, where a panel discussed A Temperature Check on Digital English Testing: Security and Artificial Intelligence. Guests were invited to a closing networking drinks reception in The Rockwell bar.
Uni of Birmingham, Tudor gallery tour, NYC
The University of Birmingham hosted a Tudor exhibit gallery tour featuring a painting they loaned to The Legion of Honor in San Francisco. This was followed by a reception for alumni partners in the Marina District.
British Council India-UK HE conference
UK universities are visiting India as part of a trade mission organised by the Department for Business and Trade. The British Council welcomed delegates to connect with Indian institutions at an event at its offices in New Delhi on September 18-19. Photos: The British Council and The PIE.
Future Forte 2023, Victoria, Australia
Future Forte hosted its annual equity and inclusion conference in Victoria recently welcoming international students for a day full of inspiration, empowerment and connections aiming to enrich the student experience.
OIC Brighton launch, UK
Oxford International College held an official opening for its new independent day and boarding school in Brighton for students aged 13-18 recently. The Nord Anglia Education school, with a sister school in Oxford, plans to accommodate some 400 boarding and 100 day students in the next years.
Kaplan Int’l Languages Boston opening, US
Kaplan International Languages celebrated the move of its Boston school to a high spec, state-of-the-art school in a historic downtown building in the centrally located Beacon Hill district of the city.
