More than 300 delegates attended English UK’s two-day ELT conference in January. Focusing on the needs of teachers and managers, sessions at the event in London included how to meet professional aspirations, language teaching in the age of the multilingual turn, and recognising, avoiding and dealing with burnout in ELT professionals. Susie Dent also closed the conference for a second year.
