Why Iran?
- Postgraduates represent the highest proportion of outbound students and as per the British Council, the rate increased by 18% between 2007 and 2012, projected to continue rising by 2024. In 2013 a total number of 50,053 Iranians went abroad to pursue tertiary education and during the academic year 2013-2014, 10,194 of them went to the USA.
- The country is very rich in oil and gas reserves and Iranians have a better quality of life compared to most of their neighbours with GDP per person rising over 300% during the past two decades. Iran started 2016 with signed deals worth billions of euros across various industries in Germany, Italy, France and the UK.
- As part of the ambitions for positioning on the international trade market, the government is developing plans to boost academic relations with the USA and Europe. Particularly in areas of water management, food security, stem cell research, nanotechnology, and health and environment sciences. Government funding is also available for overseas fellowships, allowing Ph.D. students to spend 6-9 months of research in the host country.
Join us to gain deeper insights of these vital markets while building lasting partnerships with top recruiters who can really communicate your courses to students in their language.
