The Canadian Bureau for International Education and Colleges and Institutes Canada are two of the latest Canadian international education associations to win funding from the government’s Global Opportunities for Associations programme for the year 2014-15.

The international schools market is booming and in 2013-2014 the number of students enrolled in this market sector increased by 8.4% to 3.6 million. Top local student nationalities studying at the premium leading international schools are Thai, Kuwaiti, Mexican, Emirati and Spanish.

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Migration has launched an inquiry into the impact of the closure of the UK's Post-Study Work (PSW) route for non-EU graduates examining the effects on universities, students and local economies.The report will compare the UK to competing study destinations that offer PSW rights as well as feedback from stakeholders impacted by the change.

Results from pathway provider INTO’s survey shown exclusively to The PIE News reveal a growing interest in China for study over traditional non-English speaking destinations France and Germany. The company surveyed over 800 education agencies.
