UEL and Malvern House have signed a partnership deal that developers say will benefit 4,000 international students over the next decade.

AEC Education Plc, owner of the Malvern House chain of English language schools, has announced the sale of Malvern House Ireland to Oscar World Education Limited in Ireland.

London-based Malvern House, part of AEC Education, has announced international expansion in 2012 with centres opening in Ireland and Oman. Meanwhile, Malvern House London is repositioning itself, with upgraded facilities, reduced class sizes, new programmes and a new price structure.

AEC Education, based out of Singapore, warned in December last year that its full-year pre-tax profit for 2011 will fall below market forecasts, partly because of its LCCI exam business. However, it substantially invested in its Malvern House brand, which is expanding to Cyprus, Oman and Ireland.
