An inspection of the London School of Business and Finance by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education has concluded that the quality of some of the school's higher education offerings have failed to meet UK expectations.
LSBF has had its Tier 4 licence allowing it to recruit international students suspended. If it is found to have committed a serious breach of compliance, the Home Office could sanction both LSBF and its umbrella company, Global University Systems.
LSBF is to rebrand its LSBF School of English chain as The Language Gallery (TLG), as it kicks off an expansion drive. A spokesperson for the global business school said it planned to launch three more language schools, either in the US or UK, to its portfolio by the end of 2014.
