Study Group opens new school in central London

Embassy English – Study Group’s English language teaching arm – will open its newest study centre close to Soho in central London, sharing space with new private HE player University of Law.

"For years our agents and students having been asking about an Embassy English Centre in Central London"

Opening in September, Embassy’s new centre is at the University of Law’s Bloomsbury Campus, located near the British Museum and University of London. It will offer new technology-integrated classrooms with wifi alongside computer labs.

“Embassy English students will greatly benefit from the premier facilities and surroundings of the University of Law campus, with great residence options and many of London’s top attractions all nearby,” commented Jean Vernor, President of Embassy English.

Embassy English will also maintain its Greenwich campus in southeast London – also in a tourist hotspot.

Vernor explained, “London is the most popular and desirable location for English language programmes for students worldwide. For years our agents and students having been asking about an Embassy English Centre in Central London.

In assessing the Embassy footprint for long-term growth, we felt it was important to add a Central London location to our portfolio to meet this demand.”
