The business alliance will also see agency sector specialist, Student Marketing, select and recruit the best education agencies to invite to the annual conference held by the 80-strong membership association in Spain.

‘We at FEDELE are committed to development. The MoU with StudentMarketing will help us increase the size and quality of our annual conference, and also to secure the quality stream of market information so necessary for our members’ business development,’ said Ana Cózar, Manager of FEDELE.

StudentMarketing will be partnering the conference and providing members with a market intelligence presentation and research support to facilitate the growth of their businesses.

“Less than 20% of youth travel industry associations have included research in their agenda”

“Less than 20% of youth travel industry associations have included research in their development or agenda,” said Samuel Vetrak, CEO and Founder of StudentMarketing. “We are happy to facilitate this desire while also benefiting from exposure with the FEDELE membership.”

Cózar told The PIE News that the MOU – signed at the end of April – is already reaping dividends. “We’ve already noticed an increase in the number of agencies and nationalities showing an interest in our September event,” she said. Registration for the FEDELE XIII Annual Meeting closes in August.

“Fundementally this is a good time for the Spanish language,” she added. “It’s one of the second more studied languages in the world and we’d like to take advantage of this moment to show off our member schools.”
