A gala dinner was organised this month by IIE which awarded Brazilian President, Dilma Rousseff, with the Henry Kaufman prize for furthering international education at the tertiary level. It was accepted on her behalf by Brazil’s Education Minister, Aloizio Mercadante. Over 450 stakeholders from the sector were present at the event in the spectacular venue of Cipriani’s on Wall Street.
