The 8th annual English USA Professional Development Conference brought together English language programme teachers, staff, and administrators from across the country and exhibitors from all over the world.  This year nearly 80 sessions and posters were presented to over 230 participants from a wide variety of programmes across the US. English USA said the event “continues to provide the industry with the opportunity, in an intimate setting, to share IEP best practices”. Topics covered included recruitment and retention of students, curriculum review and revision, placement and assessment, and student services and support.
