Cambridge English in association with UCAS held the International admissions: an evolving landscape seminar in London last week. Delegates from UK universities including heads of admissions, international office directors and senior compliance staff gathered at the magnificent Royal Society of Chemistry building in Burlington House to hear expert speakers from the Home Office, UCAS and other organisations. Highlights included keynote speaker Edwin van Rest of StudyPortals discussing key elements of Study Choice and Student Satisfaction in an international perspective, as well as talks from UK NARIC on emerging markets and UCAS’s Fiona Johnstone presenting the results of the 2014 international admissions review.
