Leadership Forum in Higher Education
We are proud to present a conference on a pressing issue of employability of graduates and human capital building in a society. Our previous event discussed The Golden Triangle of Internationalisation: Governance, Management and Financing and initiated the Leadership Forum in Higher Education series. This series is dedicated to increasing the quality of education and science at institutions of higher learning through the skilful use of practice-based solutions used globally in higher education modernization, development and internationalisation. This conference on employability and the human capital building will explore the relationship of higher education to the labour market and the economic, social and cultural development. The world today is highly interconnected and the academia, to both survive and serve the society, cannot afford to be removed from the reality of daily life. HEIs, through teaching, research and service, must work toward equipping its graduates with skills to function in today’s global environment while being responsible, engaged citizens locally. Employability is necessarily an aspect of higher education’s service to society as it is an essential corollary of teaching and learning.
