Why India?

  • Joint with China, India is the fastest growing major economy in the world at 7.5% GDP growth in 2015, expected to accelerate. Some of the middle class have introduced top-up schemes for educational loans in order to fill the gap caused by the exchange rate fluctuation.
  • India needs around 800 universities by 2020 to be able to address the educational demands of its students leaving many to seek opportunities abroad.
  • In 2015 India overtook China in growth in outbound students for the first time and is predicted to have the most tertiary students in the world by 2024 – 48 million. Currently, Indians represent 7,5% of the world’s mobile students.
  • 85% of outbound Indian students went to English-speaking countries in 2014-2015.

Join us to gain deeper insights of these vital markets while building lasting partnerships with top recruiters who can really communicate your courses to students in their language.
