Details

Start:
October 7, 2014
End:
October 10, 2014

Venue

The Westin Miyako
Kyoto, Japan

We’d love you to join us at the English UK Fair, Kyoto 2014, where accredited UK English language centres and top study abroad agents will enjoy three fantastic days of business and pleasure in a luxury hotel in one of the world’s most extraordinary cities, packed with temples, shrines, formal gardens and some of the oldest surviving Japanese architecture.

As always, you’ll have a fully customisable meeting schedule by day, and join our brilliant social programme each night, getting lots of opportunities to meet and mix with the other delegates whilst having a great time. Our fairs are famously friendly, because their unique small size and social programme means everyone gets to know each other fast: the perfect basis to build lasting partnerships.

Do book quickly because our fairs are always popular and places are strictly limited. We can accept only around 30 bookings from English UK member centres, and 40 from the best study abroad agencies in the region. Key markets represented from the Asia Pacific region may include China, Hong Kong, Burma, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Macau, Mongolia and Indonesia.

The package includes:

  • Accommodation for 3 nights at the Westin Miyako Kyoto
  • Welcome reception and dinner at the atmospheric and richly-decorated Akagane Resort
  • Workshop sessions and eSchedule Lite account
  • Seminar programme
  • Lunch on Wednesday and Thursday
  • A Japanese yuzen painting workshop in an historic Kyoto house
  • Traditional Japanese meal at Ganko restaurant

Farewell gala dinner and geisha show in an historic sake storehouse at Azekura.

Who will I meet?

Educators will be fully-accredited UK English language centres, likely to include private language schools, universities, further education colleges as well as other types of institution.

Study abroad agents and educational consultants will be the best from the region, representing key markets including China, Hong Kong, Burma, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Macau, Mongolia, Indonesia and other countries.
