The international student recruitment industry is getting more and more competitive: new providers are poaching from traditional markets often with new ways of delivering higher education while new study destinations are emerging everyday with new marketing strategy. Global economic pressures are more acute which as a result is making Africa more attractive for international education providers.  Competition to recruit African prospective international students has increased drastically. Due to growing competition in the market, international education providers require new innovative communication and marketing strategies and forecasting trends to keep up with potential international students and future generations of students from Africa.
Radical changes are happening increasingly quickly. Having knowledge of the market and discovering marketing and recruitment strategies that work well in the market is paramount in order to increase the numbers of international students and to stay ahead of the game.
The African Student Recruitment Conference is the main annual meeting point for ideas, research and a place to discuss operational and strategic approaches to compete in an ever-more competitive market. The conference will provide the ideal opportunity to reflect on the radical changes happening in the African international students recruitment market; look at emerging trends and provide stakeholders with the information necessary to revise policies, priorities and strategies.
Participating institutions will also have the opportunity to meet and network with quality student recruitment agents exclusively from Africa. All agents attending the conference will be carefully screened and must have expressed an interest in presenting Canadian institutions.
